Update to Group Support Room Names: Depression and LGBTQ+/MOGII
Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday's Town Hall Meeting! I appreciate all the thoughtful opinions and feedback.
In response to some of the feedback we have received regarding group support room names, we will be updating the following group support rooms and their names to better reflect their intended purposes:
24/7 Room
Old Name: LGBTQ+/MOGII Community
New Name: LGBTQ+/MOGII Support
Purpose: 24/7 support for anyone wishing to talk about LGBTQ+/MOGII topics
Pop-Up Room
Old Name: LGBTQ+/MOGII Support
New Name: LGBTQ+/MOGII Discussion
Purpose: To be used only for scheduled discussions or open chat sessions.
24/7 Room
Old Name: Depression Chat
New Name: Depression Support
Purpose: 24/7 support for anyone wishing to talk about Depression
Pop-Up Room
Old Name: Depression Support
New Name: Depression Discussion
Purpose: To be used only for scheduled discussions or open chat sessions.

From a dev side, I wonder if it would be easier to just rename one of the rooms? Right now it looks you're renaming four rooms, with two of them being named to something that the other two rooms were originally called.

I was referring to the room closures as a whole rather than the renaming.

Yes. I know. If you read some of the previous posts you will see I have been part of the campaign to keep two LGBTQ+/MOGII rooms open... And I was asking if there is any progress regarding reopening the rooms or dismissing our arguments for keeping them open.
