Congratulations to our Award Winning Moderators

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. As it is the end of Quarter 2, it is time to announce our first batch of award-winning mods based on all the mod challenges and criteria of the award-winning mod.

Before we drum roll, I am thankful to each moderator for their support and contributions to keep the chat rooms a safe, supportive, compassionate, and respectful place for everyone in Quarter-II. Thank you for participating in the challenges and setting examples of being a professional, friendly, and supportive chat room moderator. I appreciate you all.

So, it was a tough call to pick the names but we are ready to reveal the first batch! *Drum rolls*

Award-Winning Mod award goes to CommunityModElliot, CommunityModAlex, Lulurings, and SuryanshSingh

Congratulations to

@CommunityModElliot
Elliot proved his dedication to support the members and foster healthy conversations in the chat rooms. You really set the standards high and inspire and set an example of how a moderator needs to be in the chatroom. You continue to be supportive, friendly and offer support to the team and community when it is needed. Your presence makes the chat rooms lively and joyful.

@CommunityModAlex
Alex is one of the first community moderators to host the sharing circle session and setting an example of how a sharing circle host should be. We call Alex a Sharing Circle Legend as we learned from him about hosting these sessions and how to support everyone better. Your continued support demonstrates maturity, safety, respect, and compassion for the members and the community. You went above and beyond to make a difference in the support and safety level of the chatrooms.

@LuluRings
Luke has such a friendly and joyful presence in the chatrooms. He is the group support mentor leader and oversees the Support Team Management aspects but he never misses a chance to show up in the chatrooms and connect and support members. Luke sets a good example of professionalism, patience while providing compassionate listening and support.

@SuryanshSingh
Suryansh is a teen chat room moderator as well as wears many hats of leadership in the teen community. But, his presence sets a great example of how group active listening needs to be. His skills to empathize, validate and reflect is amazing.

We are happy to announce you all as award-winning mods and appreciate your support and presence in the chatrooms. As well as we look forward to continuing to learn from you to become better chat room moderators. As a small token of our appreciation, 1000 cheers are awarded to you.

Reminder: As a new quarter will be starting soon, I will post a bunch of new challenges to participate in and I hope to see some of you become award-winning mods at the end of Quarter 3.

Let’s continue to provide a safe space and foster healthy conversations in the chatroom.

And, the question for our award winning mod!
What is one piece of advice would you give us (fellow chatroom moderators)?

@ASilentObserver Thank you for this! I'm flattered and humbled. Slightly smiling

My advice would be to be patient with yourself. Badges and roles will always be there, so take your time and really build up yourself and your personal quality before taking on roles. Familiarizing yourself with the community and engaging with others before leading helps a whole lot!

@ASilentObserver
Thank you so much Obs for this great recognition. I am honored, humbled and pleased to have this.
Many Congratulations to @CommunityModElliot, @CommunityModAlex and @LuluRings too.

To all the moderators, we are a Team. My advise to all of you is to never be afraid to ask any questions or clarify any doubts you may have that may help you provide better moderation. We are all here for you and would be happy to assist you at any time. With that, roles come with responsibilities, and the main priority should be your well-being, so please be gentle on yourself; you can always step up for new roles when you feel ready, and you won't burn out. We are grateful for your presence and greatly appreciate it. heart
