Does anyone else suffer from dog attack-related PTSD ?

I just desperately want to know that I'm not alone in my experience.

4 months ago, I had to save my boyfriend from a vicious Rottweiler attack. I have only recently (mostly) successfully conquered my fear of dogs.

I am now going to work as a pet sitter, dog walker, and dog trainer again. I just really hope that another dog attack doesn't happen to either my boyfriend or I, because the first and last attack was extremely traumatic for me.

Well, at least I am relieved that my cynophobia (fear of dogs) basically no longer exists, but my dog attack-related PTSD will most likely always exist.
