Help Needed in 24/7 Support Chatrooms!

Calling all Room Supporters, Moderators, and Community!

We need your help to provide 24/7 moderation and support in the Sharing Circle Room, Support Room 24/7 Room, and Member Community Room. All three rooms are linked with the Newbie Hub SubCommunity. The Sharing Circle Room is also linked to the General Support SubCommunity.

How could I be a moderator or room support for these rooms?

• Please submit your interest to moderate or support through this short form.
• If you are present in the Support Room or Community Room, set the banner in the room showing your availability. Example: “Welcome to Support Room/ Community Room”
• If you are present in the Sharing Circle Room, let the community mod (on shift) know.

Also,

• If you are a room supporter, you could attend one of the general chat room moderator training and apply to become one.
• If you are Community-Centered Moderator for more than 2 months, you could apply to become global moderators.
• If you are not a room supporter yet, you could apply to become one here!

Does that mean Community Moderators are not moderating the room?

No.

They will be around to provide all the backup support and help you need. But, they will step back to focus on other community-building tasks like rebuilding support teams for various sub-communities, overall room moderation and supervision, providing back up support, guidance, or helping moderators and room supporters, etc.
