November 2021: Flourishing in Life Challenge!
Hello precious 7 Cups Community!
Our Group Support Community will be celebrating a Flourishing in Life Challenge for the whole month of November.
As emphasized and highlighted by Glen in THIS post,
The field of mental health has largely focused on disorders or mental illness. And people imagine a sort of continuum from mental illness <----------> mental health. However, the absence of mental illness does not mean the presence of mental health. Flourishing, on the other hand, focuses primarily on mental health, skills, and strengths. It is about becoming more resilient and living a more meaningful and purposeful life.
All throughout November, our Group Support Teams and Leaders will be hosting various sessions and discussions to orient ourselves towards flourishing and to honor
International Stress Awareness Week (Nov. 1-5),
World Kindness Day (Nov. 13),
Anti-Bullying Awareness Week (Nov. 11-14),
International Day of Tolerance (Nov. 16),
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (Nov. 13-21),
World Adoption Day (Nov. 20),
Giving Tuesday (Nov. 30).
When: November 1st-30th
Where: Member Group Support Rooms
Who: All Members and Listeners

If you'd like to host, be sure to reach out to your team leader(s) and communicate before signing-up! This is for Adults AND Teens, so please be sure to sign-up on the correct sheet. Hosting slots are first-come, first-serve.
