Make your voice heard - speak professionally when sharing feedback
Hi everyone,
I know that it has been a challenging few days as we navigate updates to chatrooms. I am super thankful for all of the positive feedback and we have been working hard to hear you all out.
That said, we require all feedback to be given and presented in a professional way. If you are not able to be nice, or frame your feedback in a positive way, we ask you to exhale, take a walk and come back and talk when you are able.
Speaking to one another or members of the staff in hurtful, threatening ways is not productive and it makes it much harder to solve problems. We are here to help solve problems, but when you threaten and yell and dont approach issues with this framework, we cannot help.
You must treat staff, ambassadors and all volunteers with respect and kindness. That is the way you get your message across. That is how you impact change.
Please take the time you need to share your feedback in a professional way. We look forward to having a productive conversation. Note: if a conversation becomes unproductive (as determined by yelling, threatening or harassing anyone ), we will close the conversation down till a productive conversation can be had.
Thank you
