Advice for begginers in jogging?
So I'm an active person I walk alot every single day. However I've been craving for the first time in my life to jogg! I feel like would do wonders for my anxiety. However I don't want to hurt myself doing so and I want to learn how to build my resistance (breathing and muscle wise).
Do any of you have tips? Like motivational ones or just health wise to start jogging?
Thank you in advance

I would suggest using/getting a pair of shoes that is supportive and shock absorbing. Try to keep a nice elongated straight spine and lifted chest when you are jogging. It is tempting to cave forward a bit especially when you are tired since this is the way we usually stand and sit, but a straighter posture is better for your back and makes it easer to breathe more fully. You may also want to take extra care of your ankles, knees, and hips, since these areas experience a lot of repeated impact when doing something like running or jogging. If you are going long distance while wearing a shirt, you may also want to cover your nipples with vaseline, tape, nipple covers, a sports bra, etc because chafing can happen. Hope that helps!
