With as many reasons as this wonderful graphic lays out for exercise, you'd think it would be easier for us (especially including myself) to want to get in a little bit of exercise everyday.
I know I've said this often and in different ways in the forums, but just getting started (on whatever the task may be) is usually the hardest part of the process for me. For example, I could all but guarantee you that if I took the time to pull my hand cycle out of storage and start using it, I could/would go for at least an hour.
But, it's like there's always some inertia (or just straight-up distraction) for me to push through. And I really feel like it shouldn't be that way, because you know, this is my body's health we're talking about.
So I guess my question is (for whoever wants to answer), what are some things that you do to keep yourself exercising on a regular basis?

Thank you for this great question, Sunset! I think it is necessary to find a type of exercise that you actually enjoy. For example, for me, I really do not like the kind of exercises that you would do in the gym. Therefore, I do not have the motivation to go there despite the numerous health benefits. I find that I enjoy exercise in other forms, namely yoga or horseback riding. As horseback riding is my passion I always find time for it and in turn it helps me to relax and remain active to gain also other benefits. Therefore, I would also encourage you to do any kind of sports or activity that brings you some joy. If there is not anything like this, I think it is also helpful to do those activities with friends (so you go once a week together to gym or you exercise/do sports together) or for some people, it helps to buy a prepaid card (e.g. to fitness, Zumba classes etc.).
@globalBraid3744 Thank you for sharing this. It motivated me to workout more.
