Keeping things to yourself

April 5th, 2020

I just read this somewhere and i wanted to put this here for you all to see anf think about.

Have it ever happened to you that you were going through soemthing serious where you really needed some emotional support but you never told anyone about it because you felt like it will burden them?

I think a lot of us had done this. We have refrained ourselves from expressing ouselves, telling people how we feel about certain things. That's how we start refraining ourselves. We start keeping things to ourselves which is good until we feel like we are drowning with all those supressed emotions. We feel trapped and alone.

We need to remember that sharing things helps. Sharing your problems with your parents or family ror friends won't be a burden on them. They love you. They care for you. It will hurt them in the long run when they see you struggling on your own.

Quarantine is the perfect time to bond with your close ones again.
