I want to find a hobby. I feel like I lack motivation to do anything for myself. I have a really stressful job, and I just feel like I waste my days off. But my mood is low and I don't know where my interests lie outside work. Any suggestions on how to find something that I love doing, just feels like my life is based around working, sleeping, and eating.

I am not sure what things would peek your interest.

But for me I went through a lot of trauma and lm disabled. But I love listening to music or podcast and I taught myself crocheting. I know it might look hard but there are great tutorials on YouTube that I watch for new inspiration.

Crochetings is easier for me than knitting. But I can do both now.

Crocheting I learned before internet stuff was good . also it helps me with my stress and isnt wasting my time. After I'm done .Ive made a hat, scarf or most things I like to do are lap blankets or baby blankets. I take them to the hospitals and nursing homes for others to enjoy.

Also writing poems and stories or long have helped me.

This all has helped me with my past trauma and stressful times more recently. Anyway good luck and keep looking for something that peeks your INTEREST Even if its not one of mine. STAY GOLD

@RoseGoldHx Hi! Inspiration hits from the most unlikely places sometimes. I have a few hobbies, some I can carry with me like knitting or reading. Knitting I can create hats and gloves or nice winter scarves and the thrill of actually making something and then wearing it is brilliant. Do you have a wool shop you could visit for inspiration?

Or crochet like @havens74 suggested.

Sports, or painting, drawing, coloring, jogging, so many ideas!
