Hobby Zone Check in: Week of Nov 21-27 - Giving Thanks for You!
As Thanksgiving in the US will be this coming Thursday, I wanted to take a moment to say how thankful I am to have our Hobby Zone community encouraging me to reconnect with my many creative pursuits and hobbies. To motivate me to make time for my hobbies, and then inspire me to share them with others. So thank you to each of you, and most especially my fellow hobby zone team members!
Some questions to consider:
- Thinking of the past week, what is one good thing that happened for you? What is one thing you struggled with?
- Looking ahead to this week, for many it will be Thanksgiving this coming Thursday, so with that in mind, can you think of one thing you are thankful for?
- Speaking of Thanksgiving, this can be a reminder the gift giving/holiday season is approaching, so do you use your hobbies to make handmade gifts? If you do, how are your projects coming along? If you don’t, would you consider it?

1) One good thing that happened to me: I got to spend time with my family after a busy past weeks. One thing I struggled with: Finding the time to finish some assignments.
2) I am thankful for this community and all the lovely people I come across on here!
3) I don't but I love crafts so I feel that would be fun to try! 💜

So what are your favourite kinds of crafts to do? Any thoughts what kind of gifts you might make?

Hmm. I love any kind really. But, I've gotten into exploring ceramics recently. I'm a beginner though, so if I do gift them, they may a little wonky :P 💜
Hello there emotions!! 😊 One good thing that happened for me last week is i did well in my exams and understood everything, which was amazing! Although I did struggle with waking up in the mornings hahaha- earlys morning are so tiring :( I am extremely thankful for my friends and my family, and all of the kind things that they do for me all year around 💗 Actually, i attended a pottery class and i made a few mugs which I would love to gift to my family as presents. Its an amazing idea to make handmade gifts, and its so heartfelt! I hope that you are having an amazing weekk

Congratulations on doing well on your exams, it can be a great feeling when we understand the material so well!
As for waking up early, that can be hard, I find as it gets colder here it's not the waking up it's the getting out from my warm blankets in the morning I struggle with!
I'm glad you have your family and friends to be thankful for.
Pottery class sounds fun, I'm sure your mugs will make lovely gifts if you choose to give them to your family. A handmade gift can certainly express a heartfelt sentiment.

Yess thats the exact reason honestly. That and how early it is combined as well as how cold it is outside, is just off putting.
