I haven't done much today, I just spent time on one-on-one chats and then watched Friends on netflix!

About that saying, I agree with your answer, I think it just really depends on the hobby you're referring to. Two of my favorite things to do are spending time with friends and family and watching movies/tv shows. There are ways to do both of these without spending money.

I agree hobbies can get expensive. Art supplies paints, lessons, ect so yeah I'd say depending on what you're interested in hobbies can rack up quite the bill.

I have a lot of hobbies and some do cost me materials, but others are almost free like gardening.

What about you?

My main hobby is coloring,,it doesn't cost to much, I can find coloring books at the dollar store. I mostly use colored pencils and crayons so supplies aren't to much. But the nicer sets of pencils can get pricey.

@MistyMagic yes agreed with that saying! since interests can become hobbies & thats how my hobbies of toy collecting & drawing/illustrating developed. i have so many art/craft supplies: glitter, acrylics, colored pencil, gel pens, watercolor, sharpie markers... 😅 most are big brands too, but most i got as presents for xmas/bday
