Bubble Tea aka Boba tea
Anybody else here like Bubble tea/ Boba tea? If so what flavored? Have you tried making this at home?
Yes, I love bubble tea but haven't tried to make it at home, yet.
Do you have recipes?
I don't have a recipe, I wish I did. Been watching YouTube videos how to make it with the pearls how to cook them. I got a bubble tea kit on Etsy. Can't wait to get it.

Sometimes I make iced coffee with boba or Thai tea with boba. All it is is tapioca pearls. I get it at the local Asian market for $1 a bag (~12 oz) or I find it in the bulk food section at Winco. They come in a variety of sizes and colors. Just boil them and then strain it and add it to any drink you like. The consistency is chewy and it soaks up any flavor it's put in.
At Winco do the pearls come in the freezer, refrigerator, or in the bulk tubs? I'm trying to picture where they are at Winco?!
@LaynieJWest5661 bulk tubs. Boba are also called pearls. So, if you have a pho restaurant nearby they sometimes have Thai tea with boba or Thai tea with pearls. Very tasty 
So good to know! I got the kit in the morning today. But haven't had energy to make it. I'm praying to this weekend.
Went to WInco and looked at the Bulk section, Sadly no pearls where found. I am glad to at least look today (9/3/15) at winco bulk section, and now I know!
I've tried a variety of bubble tea, or tapioka tea. Earl Grey. Honey milktea. Chocolate. Coconut Black tea. Chocolate mint. Apple mint. Korea has a wide variety available almost anywhere. I'll have to try to replicate some of the recipes.
That is wonderful! Would have loved to try the chocolate mint. That wasn't an option. Very cool!

my favorite flavor is almond bubble tea! mm, and when the boba is warm, and the tea is cold. IT'S THE BEST! 😍

The best way to describe bubble tea (also referred to as boba/boba milk tea depending on where you live) is usually a milk tea drink with tapioca pearls. Tapioca pearls should be a sweet and savory flavor with soft consistency that almost melts in your mouth if done correct. But, it can turn out rather chewy and gummy if cooked improperly or left too long. The milk tea portion is literally just milk, tea, and sugar so it's easily replicated with any kind of tea. Most popular is a black milk tea, which I replicate using breakfast tea or earl grey.
You can also put the tapioca pearls in just about everything like slushies, fruit tea drinks, etc. It's pretty popular in Asia and areas with a high Asian population.
Made the Bubble Tea for the 1st time last weekend. Turned out better then I thought it would. Very delicious.

My favorites are the slushie kind. Favorite flavors: Avocado, Taro, or Thai Tea. Yummm!!!
Wow I haven't heard of avocado flavor. That sounds pretty interesting... maybe I'll try to hunt down a boba place so I can try this.
I've heard of all the flavors, I'm not sure about the avacado flavor. But never know until I try it.
