Can you run Sims 4 on a non gaming laptop?
My boyfriend was going to get Sims 4 for me to play but he's sold his PC. I told him I checked and my laptop couldn't run it. He's said that I could if I lower the graphics and he's really confident I could still get it to work. I already have an online game (Star Stable) that runs perfectly on my laptop (Toshiba Satelite 4GB Ram). What do you think?

It should work fine as Sims 4 is designed to work on lower spec computers and even includes a laptop mode, it should be okay :)

Oh yay! My boyfriend said that the website doesn't recognise my newer/different hardware so it just says it won't work and it is hardware it wasn't tested on. The game came out two years ago and I bought my laptop this year so the hardware should be above what it says for minimum.
Do you think it's possible to run the graphics at a higher quality or still stay with the slightly lower graphics setting?

When you load the game I'd try putting the graphics setting to lowest and then if it runs when you can keep adjusting the qaulity higher if you wish :)
