For me so far I've been going mostly whites, browns and green. 🤍 🤎 💚
Found a gorgeous white pumpkin and mini white decorative gourd I keep on the entryway with a wood bread bowl to catch my keys and a dried flower and foliage display.
White string lights and candles help keep the mood going and to freshen up the bathroom, new white and gray towels, which were a great find during a black Friday sale.
A recent adventure to the thrift store led to a couple white round placemats with gold and silver snowflakes on one side, and a down throw pillow with an abstract leaf textured pattern.
I've noticed Xmas lights and displays have been going up and have been feeling pretty unimpressed as an option for myself the gaudy cacophony of plastic lit up candy canes and lights.
I think for me a natural and minimal look that can last all year is more my taste.
I'm considering a front door wreath or garland and live tree outside in the entryway, and something for my window box.

And a few things in the garden😁 but I get to decorate my room. Which would all be done by now, if I had the strength. But I will get it all up soon ❤ it's mostly store bought items, but I do like to make some things myself😁 I'm soooo excited about xmas🎅🎅🎅 your decorations sound lovely ❤ your awesome at xmas interior design ❤❤ well done you ❤ merry Christmas

That's great there's decorations in your care home. It can really freshen up a space. I live in an apartment building and the strata put up a string of Christmas lights. At the laundromat I go to, they decorated too. I read that December is a time to shed all the old energy of the 11 months before and become like a child again.
