HAVE A QUESTION ON SOUND!!
If i want something that will make it hard for someone to hear me when i wanna speak out loud, what should i get? I heard sound foam, but is expensive, i heard stacking towels and clipping em to a board click but somethings off with that. So what can i do that is affordable, safe, and works, and also beginner friendly ?? Any ppl who have sound things or are sound engineers etc anything similar, what did yall use that actually again is affordable, safe, functional and beginner friendly becus i dont think i can get rockwool. Ty
I'm not an expert on this, I just know what I use when I have private phone conversations. I don't use the loudspeaker.
I always use earbuds where possible and I'll play usually asmr in the background, something a bit noisy like youtubey rainfall, thunder, blizzard sounds.
I don't know for sure, but unlike others that are very loud, I'm naturally soft spoken anyway, I doubt anyone could over hear me..
I see , noise in the back would make me irratated tho, i meant as in a normal convo with no earbuds and all not over phone
Like a regular convo in a room?
Also dont think i have a loud tone either, usually i even try n supress my voice altho its soft , but i still feel anxious so thats why im asking
@berrycheesecake90 Fair enough, sorry I couldn't help then :)
Using a low tone does not carry as far, for others further away to hear. (Easier with an adult male voice than female (or child).)

Back around 2004 I was a broke teen in a punk band making music no one would listen to. Our sound studio was a room in the basement. To keep the echo down and to keep the noise from driving the house insane we covered the walls and ceiling with cardboard egg crates. Egg crate sound muffling Cut the flat lid off. And affix the pyramidal bottom to your walls and ceiling. Maybe this is an option that could help.
Thank youuu!! I might try it out
