Springtime / Spring Break Hobbies!
Drop a list of your favorite springtime activities, hobbies, or things that bring you joy!!
(For context, I'm currently on spring break and am looking for fun things to do that don't involve travel 😅)
@xsoupyplants12
Hi,
I hope your spring break goes great!
I love to go to parks and museums, they are often very lovely and relaxing!
@WarmChat Thank you!! I hope your spring break goes well too (although I know this is a really late response—I had to take a hiatus because of exams) 😅 And yes I love parks and museums too! What kind of museums do you like going to?
I hope your exams went well ! I completely understand taking a break and focusing on exams, good luck with your results !
I am from the UK, the meusiums I attend are situated in London , have you heard of the natural history museum?
@WarmChat I am SO sorry for the late response!! Thanks so much for the good wishes! I’ve never been to London but I’d like to go some day! What’s your favorite exhibit at the natural history museum? :)

Container Gardening....
Currently growing Beets, Yellow Squash, Spinach, Rainbow Carrots, and attempting Bell Peppers and Jalapenos.
@SouthernCharm515 Nice!! All of my favorite vegetables 😆 let me know how it goes and happy harvesting!!!
@xsoupyplants12
Most are growing nicely... peppers are being finicky and stubborn!
@SouthernCharm515 Ahh I get it 😅 but hopefully they’ll grow fine with some time and TLC! What do you recommend growing as a beginner?
@xsoupyplants12
Squash and carrots are pretty easy beets too
@SouthernCharm515 Thanks!!
Recently, I love flower picking!! Picking flowers near the house, or coloring a book or painting by numbers, sewing, embroidery, watching movies!! And series that is very spring feeling!! And cozy💖💖🌿
@peachSky2182 Yess I love all of those!! Thank you!!
@peachSky2182 One thing I forgot to add! I've been wanting to get into sewing/embroidery/clothesmaking etc...any suggestions for where to start? Also, what's your favorite thing to sew or embroider? 💗
@xsoupyplants12
Connecting with old friends, spending quality time with myself, pampering myself, visiting orphanage... These are the things I do enjoy during break.
@Smilingsoul11 That's amazing!! Self care and connecting with others is so important!! Thank you for sharing this!! 🫶
Maybe not springtime specifically but I play a lot of pickleball and tennis now the weathers improved.
Just got a steam deck too so that keeps me occupied. What about yourself?
@sympatheticBike3940 Oo that’s so fun! I used to play tennis and badminton a lot but I haven’t been able to recently…I’ll see if I can meet up with some friends to play soon! And I’ve mainly been going on walks and seeing the flowers on trees / the grass turning greener :) Thank you for sharing!!
@xsoupyplants12 most of the times it's gardening and arts and crafts while bike riding and travel are side chick hobbies, as my parents won't allow me everytime
@HealingAlien4444 Nice!!! What’s your favorite place to travel / your favorite place you’ve ever been to?
