Its my first semester at a big university, and with 3 weeks left - I have 4 As and a B! I also have a learning disability and mental illness

@marcelasarro13 - That's okay! But I'll say this much - when things are tough, I think logging in here and reaching out counts as a pretty significant achievement!
Something new for me is I'm finally going to be able to get closure. My mom was killed during a car accident. My dad caused the accident. They were fighting and he slammed the car into a pole. He's been in jail since and I'm finally going to get to see him after 10 years. I haven't seen him since I was 6. I'm scared buy I need to know why.
@CastledMercury5 - That sounds like a pretty intense experience, but also like one that might help you get the closure you're looking for. When are you going to see him?

I went out twice with a new person, we had it established that it's just friendship. I'm happy that I'm putting myself out there

Getting out of bed today, even if it was way late and it doesn't really feel like an achievement. It was a huge battle and I feel like I'm failing to meet the deadline I have coming up as a result of struggling with motivation to get out of bed. I feel quite sad and defeated.
@Zeraphim - It can be hard sometimes to give ourselves credit for the things that might look small, but really felt big. But those are important achievements, too, and on those days when getting out of bed is really hard, it's absolutely an accomplishment to fight through and do it. I'm proud of you. *hugs*
