1. In elementary school, I used to collect rocks off the playground.
2. I'm not sure how I got interested in rock collecting, I guess I thought that they were really pretty and cool looking.
3. In middle school, I would collect interesting pieces of wood and pinecones. Which annoyed my mom when she found it in my pockets. 😅
I love this! It seems like you are very connected to nature.
When I was small, 1st-4th class I was collecting cat pictures. At that time images on ”google” was something special, because at that time the first computers were at our school and you could get access to them only in a few occasions. So yeah, I have a whole notebook half-full (90 pages) with cat pictures printed from google, pictures and articles from magazines, I glued puzzles, and anything I could get about cats. 😻😹🐱😿😼

Now I remember that I also have a notebook with glued pictures. I was collecting photos from TV magazines with pictures of films I have seen haha. However, my collection was not as large as yours!!
Did that love for cats stick with you? Are you a cat owner now or would you like to have a cat?
That's so cool! :) It's like a photo album, but with movies... It could be very interesting to open it now and remember movies you have seen, and maybe forgot years later😊
I think at one point everybody were collecting something in notebooks. I remember my friends were collecting about celebrities, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears 😀 At one point I also collected about Avril Lavigne, because I felt like I am too strange collecting only cats, so I chose celebrity based on luck 😀 I didn't even knew her songs at that time, later on I explored her music and fell in love with her style :)
But yeah - about cats... When I was small I wanted cat so badly, that's why I was collecting them so much. Few years later I got one. I rescued him from bad household. He is still alive, lives happily :) little bit old already, but for his age he looks amazing. 😻
Am I still obsessed? 😀 Haha, I think no.😀 I have other animals too - a bird, chinchillas, I had a dog too. Each has their own pluses and minuses, each is unique. Love is still there ❤️ just more divided

This is so true! My sibling also used to collect pictures of celebrities. When I was younger I also liked Avril Lavigne a lot. I know what you mean that you chose a random celebrity! I was saying that I like sushi without even tasting it and later I realized that I do not like it at all but I considered it cool at that time haha.
It is very admirable of you to rescue a cat. He must be happy that you provided him with shelter and love. I also like animals - all kinds. I have a bunny now but I was considering a chinchilla for a long time. Is your chinchilla friendly or rather shy?

It's interesting how we as a kids wanted to fit in so badly that we do or say things that not even in alignment with our truth. But yeah, great that we can choose now, say what we don't like, and have a fun memories of blindly doing what was cool 😎

Oh, I like bunnies too. 🐰 I think they are much calmer than chinchillas. I have two chinchillas. I would call them very friendly and not shy at all. Especially when it's a evening or night time, when they are waking up. In daytime they are shy but that's only because they are sleeping, who would want to be interrupted while having a great sleep? They are very, very active, we let them run few times a week in the room, and they love that. They jump, run all over the place, nibbling everything (you have to consider that - because everything - walls, wires, wood, it's impossible to get away without some damage in the room, that's just their nature), always come to us, for some treats, and not afraid to jump on us. They are hiding only if they feel tired, sleepy or afraid. What's also very interesting that they are not afraid of new people, they actually get more active and want to explore ”new thing” that's in the room. And its healthy for them to change something because they get bored very easily, if they see the same stuff all the time. Yeah, shortly - I would call them very friendly and social.
I think the most important thing to take in mind if you are considering chinchilla, is to have a place where to put them (they require quite a big cage), a quiet time in the day so they can sleep, they are night animals, and yeah, if it's possible to have two of them at the same time. They are very social, and they can get depressed very fast, if they don't have anybody around. One of my chinchilla got depressed when we moved to the new apartment, it took a time for her to adapt to a new place, so yeah...they are very emotional beings. They don't like to be petted(? Hope this the real word 😄), at least most of them when I did a research, but yeah, there are several cases when they allow to be petted. It probably depends on both sides - owner and chinchilla. And yeah, it is good if the room they are in is little bit colder, because they have very thick fur. Overall, very energetic, funny, emotional, social, beautiful animals. I would say they are small princesses because of all the requirements. 👸🏼👸🏼
I think I could talk about them all day 😄 because there is just so much about them that's very unique.

My bunny is awesome - he is a grey lionhead and he is very fluffy and friendly. He likes snacks and likes to be petted. I would say one disadvantage compared to chinchillas is that he is very messy.
When I have my own house, I would definitely like to have more animals. I really like chinchillas as they are also very intelligent among other qualities.

When I was in my teens and 20s, I collected different things: cat figurines, stamps, chestnuts, those plates with the art drawings on them, even soda cans of all things. Now I like to buy different cat mugs.

My collection of cat cups is about probably less than 10 or so. I also have a cat shower curtain, cat curtain, cat calendars, and cat bags. I am a cat lover obviously!
I collect autographs. I’m not sure how I got interested. I just always have. When I was younger I collected baseball cards.

Oh yeah I am a big time collector of mugs and magnets from my travels. Curios and local handicrafts, scrafs, postcards.
Every item I collect is wrapped in tender lovin memories.
As a child I collected stamps and entry tickets to every monument I would visit.

I have always collected action figures. I tried giving it up completely once or twice but I got lonely. I realized I was collecting all the little people to keep me company.

I collect comicbooks, started buying them in my 20's and now that i am older i have the money to keep on buying them. As a child I collected bottle caps from Soda Pop.

I collect magnets from every place I've been! I'm not really sure what started it, but I guess instead of storing hundreds of postcards, I like magnets, a snapshot of each place.

I also have a huge collection of trading cards (Pokemon) that I started as a child and that I am still growing! Really interested in Lorcana (Disney TCG, will release in 2023) too!

Pokemon cards used to be very popular and now lots of people are interested in buying the first collections. Lorcana cards look cool as well
