Bottle Caps - Inspired by Fallout
So, I've been collecting bottle caps for a little over a year now and I always keep track of how many I have so that whenever I get a new one, I can add it to the tally. I currently have 256 coca-cola bottle caps as well as 21 bottle caps from other companies which makes 277 Caps in total.
I was first inspired to do this by the Fallout video game series but then it just sort of became a casual hobby. Sometimes if I see someone with a bottle-cap bottle, I'll ask them if they don't mind giving me the cap for my collection. When I told the cashier at a cafe once, she even gave me a small bag of like 30-35 caps for free :)
I hope to hit 1,000 caps in total one day.

Hi,
I have a small glass jar filled with caps in remembrance of fallout.
When I was kid,me and a mate had a collection going. We actually had thousands but it was just taking too much space and we grew out of it.
And we used to make dirt tracks and race them bottle caps...lol
Did you hear about the guy that mailed a box full of caps to bethesda in order to buy fallout 4?
That was hilarious.
I have a hobby of collecolle yarns, hooks, buttons and teddies lol

Then build an awesome table and sell it to a bar for big bucks. Amazing collection!
Some people have armored their fridge with bottle caps, others made bracelets and others like my uncle constructed little robots. Imagination is your limit...
When I was a kid, I had a collection of about 30 caps, all from different bottles. I'd find them on the ground or whatever, wash them, and even put them on a 'display' board.
Sadly, my mother thought it was disgusting, and threw it out. :(
