I’m extremely interested in meteorology, i was meant to chase this storm, but it got deemed by my family as “too dangerous”, Thoughts?

What is it you love most about meteorology?

@creativePlane1654 well my knowledge on meteorology ends with can look out the window to see what the weather is, but storm chasing sounds like an interesting hobby. How does it happen? Do you go to a place where a storm is and keep moving with it? Just genuinely curious

@creativePlane1654 i personally advise against it with the same reasoning. it looks really risky and lacks safe execution in my mind
