Yoga - Om Vakratundaya Hum

One of my most important "hobbies" is yoga, especially mantra yoga. Try using a phrase you love, some words that comfort you or inspire you, or even research a time-tested spiritual mantra like the title of this post. Pick out a nice journal to write in or a comfy place to speak/write/think the mantra... I like to fill one or two pages at a time, follow a 108-bead mala, or count mentally as I go. Try it, it might bring you some calm, some peace, some energy, some inspiration... something nice! 🌺

@JaiMaa Thanks for posting this, I find using Mala beads very soothing and I am going to make some new ones. Do you have some? What are yours made of?

@MistyMagic

That's so neat! I'm still learning to bead and knot a mala.

My favorites are made of sphatik/quartz! What about you?

Quartz is great and hard wearing too. I learnt to string pearls and this is very similar.

Can you buy mala beads? I haven’t heard of them but I like to use tangible things to help with meditation/mindfulness like something I can touch and feel and feeling beads to count sounds really soothing and like it would help me! Id like to try to get some…and make some eventually!
