Leopardus pardinoides, aka, "clouded tiger cat" is proposed as a new species, separate from the previous Leopardus tigrinus (savanna tiger cat, or Oncilla) and Leopardus guttulus (Atlantic Forest tiger cat).

Unfortunately, it's not the best idea to have a wild animal as a pet 😳 but! A bengal cat or savanna cat do look similar and you can have those as a pet :D
