Biplane 07-09-23 Part 1 of 2
There is a red and white biplane that flies over our farm. I don't know why but He likes to circle our farm, several times and then leaves. I tried making a video of it. Today I decided to try and make some pictures out of it. I narrowed it down to 23.

that plane has such potential, aerobics and so much lift. That’s the kind of barrel roll plane.
Why do you question its presence?

I used to fly archer light aircraft. Watching those acrobatic planes go up with skilled pilots can make you feel sick just observing..
if you see a trail that’s not forming letters intentionally then it’s just a private pilot. Oh and in engine failure the ability to glide to a safe ish landing is almost always guaranteed. Stalling and engine failure is part of the exams .

its within the plane’s capacity, pilots 🤷🏻♀️. So maybe as previously mentioned his or her is learning, building up their type rating in unrestricted airspace.
I can imagine how invasive it may feel when your privacy is removed with some above you.
A 1000ft … though you’d need binoculars to see a human with the natural eye

most unbuilt up areas are either in restricted or a lower grading.
air space has classifications depending on height and location.
so the same air space at 1000ft could have a different one at 12,000ft.
Then there’s more general sweeping classifications when buildings are involved.
It incredibly complicated. A field however would likely be G and no air traffic control, with no frequency. That said they don’t like dangerous or suspicious flying.
Best way to find out is google air space restrictions where you are or in your country.
@LabeledBPD I live in the USA, the reason why I am asking is because I fly R/C planes from one of our fields.

idk about USA, uk drones have to be under 500grams or be registered.. official documents and more rules.
RC planes low level. Firstly over a field it’s almost certainly unrestricted airspace. Secondly, a light aircraft in a loop of an airfield is at a 1000ft. Larger aircraft normally flay like 20000 and stuff. So you don’t have anything to worry about legal I can say with almost definite certainty.
light aircraft in unrestricted airspace are responsible for themselves to a degree. No air traffic control monitoring location, height etc. even if it was airspace that requires just notifying air control, that’s all it is. And it’s all due to collisions mainly 95% of the time. Yes plane going down in a emergency not being known about and smuggling is a part but your RC plane is unlikely to cause such concern at the heights and size and location.

i wanted to come to the USA and hire a plane and see the beautiful country you reside in from above.
from what i remember most of it was completely unrestricted air space.
Airspace close to residential buildings will definitely almost certainly have a classification like the uk. The pilot seems very careless.
I hope you can figure it out soon as it does appear to be a worry that you can do without.
@LabeledBPD thank you for the information. I haven't seen any numbers on his plane. I don't know if it is the same pilot or not but back in 2015, my Dad and I were sitting out on some lawn chairs, and an old airplane that looked like it might be from the WW2 era showed up. He was flying low and acted as if He was going to fly into our barn! Just as he came to it, He pulls up and just goes over top of it. My dad and I got up and started to run away. We thought He was going to hit the barn and pieces were going to fly. I was telling this story to a lady at work. Her husband is a pilot, and she just laughed about it.

likely circles your farm as it’s unrestricted air space and preaching aerobics will likely only harm some plants in a field if it goes wrong.
Even if not practicing aerobatics, air space restrictions on such manoeuvres is kinda strict. Your filed likely has no air traffic control and airspace classification.
@LabeledBPD What he does is a bit weird. Flying low, He shows up and circles us a few times, and then goes over a near by housing development and circles them several times and leaves. He does this several times over the summer. I got no idea why.

that does seem like weird behaviour. Who owns the plane? They have markings for a reason of identification. Like any radio control with air traffic our golf bravo 21 foxtrot is like a license plate.
Have you looked into the ownership of the plane?
that plane is not designed for espionage, that said anything well all most anything is possible.
you can make complaints to the CAA , civil Aviation Authority, in the uk. There’s likely some other authority where you are.
If they are causing you distress and concern I hope they could clear it up.
even unrestricted air space is governed by the CAA, just normally without involvement.

in a plane like that it is weird… it’s not cheap to maintain due to (MOT kinda thing they need) like all planes. Hanger storage charges, and then aviation fuel… on top.
Those are a labour of love unless you impress occasionally people with what that plane is capable of.
have a look at airspace restrictions where you are and get the tag on the wing clearly.report them to whoever manages your airspace. Uk is the CAA. Civil aviation authority
