@Sunisshiningandsoareyou

i love reading, dancing, video editing,, and writing poetry

i've been dancing and reading all my life, writing poetry since a few years ago, video editing since last year

i dance everyday and edit videos from time to time (monthly), write poetry occassionally. i used to read everyday, but it's been difficult to follow that since last year. i would definitely to read, write poetry and edit videos more often

my favorite hobby might be dance. it allows me to express my emotions and helps me release them through movement, which really helps me manage them.

Awh, any kinda physical activity is indeed very helpful in releasing emotions, elated to hear dancing is a way for you to express your emotions and feel lighter ! Happy dancing ❤

♡Favorite Hobby: Reading oracle cards (tarot, lenormand, and sibilla) and runes. ♡I just started my journey into reading and learning in January 2021. ♡I think I spend about 2 hours a day in total on readings and follow-up journaling at the moment. I could easily spend more time in it, but there is other work to do. 😅 ♡This new hobby/journey has been very impactful for me, and for the better. It's been therapeutic, encouraging, empowering, challenging (in a good way), and so much more. My family can also see the difference in me. It's great! ♡It's so much fun! Personal, interactive, expansive. It feels like exploring a whole new friendly world! ☆Thanks for letting me share!

Its kind of interesting how my hobbies have impacted me. I’ve been into Star Wars since May of last year. During the pandemic I had to grow up a lot and realize that the world isn’t as pretty as I thought it was. It’s been stressful, and I think part of the reason I became a listener was because I needed to give myself a form of responsibility to keep myself sane and from feeling like through awful online school was not my only purpose in life. I have found that my hobbies and 7cups have helped give me a guide for how to experience the scary world without feeling overwhelmed. Star wars was a world in which I could think through real life scary things without any consequences and the unpredictability of real life. I could explore my creativity without being judged, I had a community I could connect with. I often find myself even now thinking of “what would this star wars character do in my situation?” Or “what scene or situation from star wars is my current situation like?” Its like the one good thing in my life when everything else seems wrong or unreal. One thing star wars tells over and over again in the stories it tells are that Failure is a normal part of the journey of life. When you fail, it’s ok, when youre unsure, its ok, its normal. When you notice you are failing, its unpleasant, but its always just one step on the path youre on, and it wont always be that way. What matters is that you keep getting back up again, you have hope, you allow others to support you so that you can take the next step in your journey. Our culture disdains failure, but that doesn’t mean its bad, and it doesn’t impact your worth as a person, nor does getting help to move past it. I felt like I was failing a lot during the pandemic. I blamed myself for being unproductive at school, I felt like I failed at helping my family members cope with all the stress the pandemic brought. Star wars helped me realize that I failing didnt mean that I was a bad person. Getting help with 7cups before I was a listener felt awful sometimes because I thought I was weak or failing to fix my own problems. Star wars helped me internalize that I was not the problem, and that me getting help to move past the emotional rut I was stuck in was helping me learn. Me and anyone else failing again and again is ok, its part of everyones path, its how we all learn, and learning means that we all get better. I hope that I can help people understand their failure is ok, normal, expected, recoverable, and a wonderful learning experience, and I hope that the lessons star wars taught with me stick with me for a long time.

1) Some of my favourite hobbies including journaling and reading!

2) I've loved reading for as long as I can remember diving into various genres along the way with fantasy, romance and thrillers being my top choices now. As for journaling, I've been doing this since I was a child as well even if back then they started simply as a diary back then.

3) I read a ton everyday and I love how much time I get to do that using my Kindle. I would like to spend more time journaling though to make it more of a daily thing as I find it's good for me to have that time to myself where I put some thoughts on paper.

4/5) Both have impacted my life in different ways. Journaling has let me truly explore the thoughts and feelings I have in my head and help me come to terms with some of the hardest moments of my life. It also lets me relive some of my best moments when I flip through the pages at a later date. Readings is almost the opposite for me. It provides an escape. I can disappear into a completely new world and put my own worries aside. Both are important for me to maintain balance in my life.
