Unconditional love of our furry friends :)
A few months ago, when I moved to my new apartment I decided I wanted to have a pet for a little companionship. I was not allowed to have a dog in my place so I decided to rescue a kitten. I have never owned cats before and honestly was a little scared since they have those scary claws and hiss when unhappy (please don't judge my stupidity on that topic), but I can't even begin to say how much happiness and love she has brought to my life!!!
Seriously, she provides the best form of therapy I have ever encountered! When I get home after a long day, she just purrs her adorable little head off and then climbs on my lap for a snuggle. It melts my heart and makes all my stress just slip away.

Hi, I’m new here. I cannot agree with you more! I’ve always loved animals, especially cats! My father hates pets especially cats, so I’ve never had a cat. Three years ago my then husband got me a little silver Siberian kitten. He’s allergic to cats but is fine with the breed as they produce lower levels of the proteins that trigger allergies. I love her immensely and last Jan we brought her mother home. Her mom is the most loving cat I’ve ever met. I’m so grateful for these ladies.
In moments where I struggle with my depression and anger. These two ladies are the only things that comfort me. I love them so much I cannot find words for what they mean to me. I am not maternal towards them. They are my companions. My comfort. They don’t ask for anything when I have nothing and only give me something to smile at.
I’ve never had cats before these two, but I can’t imagine what I’d do without them.

She came into my life during a very very dark time after a friendship divorce of 14 yrs. Was in a deep level of depression and grieving and trying to adjust to the loss. 💕💕💕
I'm so thankful she came into my life and has transformed my pain and tears and heart break into deep love and comfort and healing.
I got her @ 5 weeks old and she'll be 4 in June 🐾🐾💕💕🐾🐾💕💕

Aww..I miss my kitty, one day hopefully soon I'll be able to retrieve her from my ex...long story...but for Christmas I got a little puppy for myself and for my daughter, and she's definitely helped me take better care of myself just for the sake of taking better care of her. Whenever I spend time with my daughter it's so uplifting, but the days in between visits needed bolstering. I realized I couldn't make my girl my "whole world", even though in many ways she is, because I'd get too depressed between visits. SO, here is little Minnie, the Chihuahua, and she is getting bigger but still sooooo smole
