Volunteering means giving your time and abilities to help people without getting paid for it. Volunteering has many benefits, it helps in: 1. Meeting new people and making friends 2. Gaining knowledge. 3. Boosting self esteem. What did you volunteer for and how has volunteering been for for you? I have volunteered at a retirement home and at 7 cups. Both have been good experiences for me. What about you?

Hi @bubbleHouse8913

Love this post 💙

I volunteer to take care of some old relatives by visiting them regularly or more in phone calls form since the pandemic and here at 7 Cups.

See you around!

@bubbleHouse8913 I agree! Volunteering is really nice. I would love to volunteer at a retirment home or at a hospital but I just couldn't find any.

I enjoy volunteering.

My bigger dog and I are a volunteer team. We are a registered therapy dog team wit alliance of therapy dogs. Where we currently live, we have done library visits and kids read to her or pet her. I'm maybe interested in tryin hospice or care facility visiting with her.

I've looked into volunteering with the state Library of the blind.
