Translation Project Idea: Real-time Translations
So I had an idea, thinking about how many non-english speaking people use cups. Because group chats are English only it can discourage people who don't speak or understand English from seeking support.
So how do we fix this problem? My suggestion is this:
When setting your languages in your profile or when you signup for cups, group chat messages and forum posts should automatically get translated into your set language.
It would allow non-english speakers to participate in group chats more often and break down language barriers for listeners who want to support members who don't speak their language.
While I know a real-time translation feature would take time to implement, and idk if the 7cups framework would support this kind of feature - but I think a lot of people would appreciate it.
Was thinking of putting this idea in a feedback form but I think its more appropriate for this forum. :)
