Bad dreams and worse flashbacks

Lately I've been having these dreams that I'm dying and I'm just trying to get a hold of my best friend so I can tell him 'I love you' but I never can get to him and I'm always dying in horrible ways.
Then there is the flashbacks I get if I smell/see/hear certain things. I go back to being a child and feeling my dad hit me over and over. It's terrible and I don't know how to make them stop.

oh my goodness, that sounds so stressful :c nobody deserves to have to suffer through flashbacks or terrible dreams like that, i can't imagine how frustrating and upsetting that has to be.
