I sometimes resent my family for keeping me alive.
I wish that I could live again and not just exist.
@MaliciaB
You are here, now, present and aware. Start living again. Baby steps though. What will you change?
I spend 10 hours in a day, calling people, submitting resumes and a whole bunch of stuff related to getting my next job but it hasn't happened yet, it's dicou4aging and fustrating
@reservedexcitment I've been doing this everyday for 3 months, I know my industry is difficult but come on, someone has got to say yes, and please let it be soon
@reservedexcitment I'm kind of in your same boat. I'm applying for a job soon and I have a lot of training to do and I get really frustrated and stressed about making sure I do everything right so I can pass the interview.
Hang in there <3
@reservedexcitment
Hey, reservedexcitement, I feel much the same as you shared. I've been unemployed for over a year and many days I feel like just flushing my resume down the toilet...because that is where my confidence and career seem to have gone.
I'm not giving up, but I share your pain, and frustration. At my last job interview I was told my two college degrees were "useless to their organization." My degrees are both in communications, & my minor was psychology, so I'm taken aback by that harsh remark.
Sending resumes out, applying endlessly on line, or in person for jobs...and waiting to hear back is exhausting. And when you never do get a response, or deal with back-to-back rejections...it makes staying positive very challenging.
I give myself at least one day off a week where I refrain from all things related to my job hunt. I recommend that highly, for you. And, have fun on your day off! 😊 You've earned that privilege.
Like lots of people, I'm crushing on this person so badly, sad it can't work. It's terrible to know how prevalent of a human experience this is.
I'm just so depressed and I'm not sure why.Talking to family doesn't help because even though I'm always there for them, they tend to dismiss my problems as 'silly,' or 'hormones,' or 'not important,' because I'm a teenager and a girl.
I just want to feel happy but every time I try, I always end up back in the same place; lonely, sad, and confused.
I act like I don't have any problems, people think I'm happy, people think I shouldn't have a reason to feel this way but when no one is around, I just go under and it's gotten to the point where I'm scared I'll never resurface...
I confess...I'm still scared 😱 of the dark & sleep with a 💡 light on.
@caterpillargirl
Girl, I still sleep with my teddy bear. If it comforts us and is not harmful, then it is perfectly okay. Society says sleep in the dark, but society does not make your decisions for you.
Keep the light on, and sleep in peace
My confession
I am bipolar, and am starting to feel the slide. One side of me is falling in a deep dark hole and I can see the demons gnashing their teeth, while the other side is vibrating with energy, colour and sound. I will play it out because I love being manic...which is a bad thing...I know I should call my doctor, but I won't.
I think I'm weird.
@anxiousweirdo
I think that we all think that we are weird. Weird is good. It makes us different and not one of the masses.
I'm a recovering pill user and today is 2 weeks clean. I feel good and need to move forward.
@OldCthulhu
Yay for you! This deserves applause
I feel like I have no business being here because I'm not going through half the things as some of the people I've seen on this site, and I feel the stuff I'm going through is just me being stupid, weak, and a spoiled brat. I don't even know if I have anxiety or depression.
I haven't and probably will never be able to get over the fact that I almost had sex with a guy at 15. I didn't thank god, but I got way closer than I ever wanted to, and I told him this stuff, but he kept pushing me and making me feel like I didn't love him enough of I didn't do what he wanted. Or maybe it was me just being stupid and blaming someone else for it so I don't seem like the had guy. I don't know. All I know is that I felt horrible and disgusting every time after I did something with him, and when my mom basically caught us the time we almost had sex, I felt so ashamed of myself and I didn't want to talk to anybody, not even my mom. I knew she was disappointed, and although she told me she was over it and forgave me some time later, I still feel like she hates me for it.
Sometimes I hate my mom. I feel like she doesn't understand me and sometimes doesn't care to. She always has to be right, even when she's wrong, and none of my opinions matter. She yells at me for either the smallest things or over nothing at all, and I feel like she hates me sometimes and that I'm just a burden to her. I also feel like she doesn't trust me sometimes, either to do things myself or just in general, and that could be from the paragraph before. She treats me like a kid but expects me to act like an adult and obey her every whim. I don't know.
I have an urge to die just to see if I can become a ghost so I can get out of everyone's way but still see people live out their lives while I love mine, happy and alone, doing whatever I want and living the life I've always wanted to.
I think I'm just rambling at this point so I'll stop, but this is just some of the things on my mind constantly. I feel like a huge load has been taken out of my brain now lol (sorry if this is way too long or not done right or whatever)
@AwkwardAce1563
Oh my, you sound like me. Lord knows how a certain RP conversation turned out one day. It started with my theory of lazy people getting sub/consciously sicker on their own laziness - something like that. And then the conversation died maybe, because of my horrid presumptuousness.
Dunno what to say here but once upon a time I agreed with everything or almost everything said here. The bigger key differences being I know I AM a brat and I really did wish. Probably still and very much do, to become the eternal observer, for life.
Congrats on finding your inner rambler! Talking about things are the number one step to understanding, expressing and finally fixing/accepting (depending on which one's preferred) your self. No, really. Hang in there, comrade.
@AwkwardAce1563 go ahead and vent
I cry for no reason all the time and I go into my room and avoid everyone and I just needed to get it off my chest..
