The chorus I think is about the numb feeling one gets when one starts to lose feelings. It says that with this numbness you feel lost and no longer able to function. I think it is important if you are unable to express your emotions to others that you listen to a song and see if you identify with what they are singing.

This is a great idea, Monica :) I agree with you. Sometimes, it's hard to understand/express our own feelings and we tend to use art as a medium for us to connect or simply express. It really is important.
