I wish I could just disappear
Take a long deep breath atleast 15 times..it helps from frustration
my friend suggested we meet for lunch today but then didn't answer any of my texts and calls! i was in town by myself and ended up going to the park to cool off by myself. apparently she overslept. still feeling a bit resentful about it...
@EllieKB
I have a friend who does this all the time. Soooooo annoying!
Feeling grumpy about crappy listeners who don't listen well such as asking questions completely unrelated to the issue/lacking emotional attunement/generally being clueless.
My arrogant control freak housemate just brought home 12 strangers for a party on a Tuesday night. I was settled watching TV and they took over the sitting room. Panic attack happened so I ran away. I would love my own apartment but I'm disabled and can't work. Agghhhhh!
omg yes becausepeople keep bringing up my past....when i was like never nice and always in arguments but im tryin to change!!! i can only try my hardest and if it isnt good enough for anyone then leave me.........
I had this moment of frustration few months ago ... i encountered something hateful, a society where u cnt be urself ... they wont listen to u , but expect u to listen to them... its an ongoing situation :/ i hate it when they judge people for being different . They look nice in the outside, but who knows whats inside their head and heart. They love talking about peole behind their back. Its good to have high self esteem but is it really ok to look down on people ???
No one understand me
I feel completely alone and that I'm always going to be alone
Tonight I was eating dinner with two friends, one is a roommate when my roommate made a comment that our friend is her "favorite lesbian". Feeling upset I said "hey, what about me?" and she responded with "Well she actually cooks for me and does the dishes". I felt angry and hurt because I have cooked her dinner. I've even made her chicken even though I don't eat meat. I vacuum. I clean the kitchen and I have been doing the dishes except for when I'm too depressed to do them, in which case they get hoarded in my room to be done later so they don't bother her. Not once has she asked me if I am ok. She'll comment on this despite the fact that I'm the only one cleaning the cat bowls. I'm the only one feeding and filling the cat's water bowls, and I'm the only one emptying out the fridge. Meanwhile, her room is a fucking mess. Her bathroom is so dirty that I won't use it even if someone's using mine, and her car is so messy that she can't even offer rides in it. I'm so tired of her dismissing the work I've been doing. With me being the only one cleaning in the house I feel used and taken advantage of. I've written her a letter discussing how I felt to her and she has yet to acknowledge it months after the fact. I don't know what else to do at this point.
@nerdymouse she is an immature user. i would find a way to move or get rid of her.
@nerdymouse
that sounds really hurtful. It seems like you do your part around your shared home and made efforts to show care for your friend by doing these chores. Is she aware of your depression? I've run into stigma around mental illness so often. Sometimes even though others are aware of it they don't understand/empathize because they haven't experienced anything similar in their lives. And there's always the terrible "can't you just be happier?" as if we choose this for ourselves. You could try to to explain to her if you feel that you can. At least you might have changed one mind. But in the other, it's not your job to make her a more opene minded, compassionate friend. She should be reaching out to you. Especially if she is aware of your depression. I hope this helps. *hugs
