Feeling Angry or Grumpy? Share your frustrations!! Let it out!
College sucks when you have no motivation.
i hate scripted reality shows, like, really? a scripted reality????????????
For the last month, I've done little else but listen to my friend during one of the most stressful semesters of her college career. She is president of three clubs/a magazine, working on her seminar research project, applying to graduate school, applying for the Fulbright scholarship, and taking her psychology competency exams. She's been so stressed out or needing to vent frustrations or celebrate small victories so I've been interrupting my life whenever she has those moments. I've cut back on discussing my issues because she always circles back to her. She yelled at me today because she burst into my room while I was studying because I have a bunch of assignments and tests this week. B/c ADD, we got off on some totally separate topic and I wasn't quite understanding her and didn't feel up to discussing it at length so I cut the conversation short and she left in a glum mood. Then she told me that I was acting like a jerk and she's been stressed the last 3 weeks but didn't take it out on me. Which is true, I just heard about it nonstop and redundantly. But somehow I'm now the bad friend for not having time for her or being able to explain all of my struggles with academics because when I do she seems to look down on me. She actually told me about it once after being bitchy that whole week. I'm sick of her acting like she's so much more intelligent than me or that I'm exaggerating my issues or shouldn't feel so bad cuz others have similar pain
I am dissapointed more on my level of grumpiness and insatisfaction, and the fact I sometimes lash out of people. Unfortunatele is people I find "inferior" to me, so therefore I snap, or treat them like shit, because I feel like crap, and lost; I'm fighting nasty violent bursts online, where I troll people on dating sites or youtube, or in real life, where if people make small mistakes, I just overreact and make sure they know it was a stupid decision, rather than letting it go easily and moving on. I'm slowly making improvements, but from a moderate line of constant flow, spikes of anger still flash.
angry at myself for being stupid and not knowing what to do with my life.
angry at people asking me what my plans in life are.
angry at society for setting a timeline of how you should live your life.
Lately I feel like I can't focuse on anything. I'm always beeing triggered by something and I have been very close to loosing my mind and exploding. I have a very unstable and unsupportive mother and recently I had a breakup and the guy keep abusing me emotionally. He made me feel disgusted about myself and really really angry. I was so upset. Everyday I'm battling with these emotions as well as with depression, I have college every day and then I come home at the end of the day and my mother lashes on to me. I feel so angry all the time or just so low. It's like I can't feel any happiness anymore.
I just want to get to sleep but my anxiety is keeping me up and now I will have less than 2 hours of sleep for a full day of internship and graduate level classes tomorrow. School is also really stressing me out and then I binge eat and then hate myself for it all. Ugh I am frustrated with myself
I'm grumpy because it's very warm today and I could have put on a dress but I forgot about it ugh
A family member who always, always, always, screams at someone, for anything - any argument - when we are all together at lunch on Sunday.
I know that the only thing you can do to stop this verbal abuse is to remove oneself from these moments, because you always "lose" when you try to help on giving good and positive suggestions to the conversation.
But you can't go away during a family lunch.. And you end up to feel frustrated for all the Sunday.
