Feeling guilty

So I told my manager about an incident between two coworkers that happened on her day off, and she proceeded to ask one of the people involved when he came in. He probably knows it was me that told her, and now I’m scared that he’s going to tell people about how I’m an awful person. (More context: he’s known to be kind of an asshole and one of our coworkers went off at him for being rude.) idk whether I should feel bad for telling her, but I’ve suffered from social anxiety for as long as I can remember

You didn't do anything wrong by telling your manager
It feels bad to think about what might this person would think or do but you did the right thing i guess
