I call it a migraine.

Wow it's weird feeling to explain to my household that I have had a migraine for just over a week now with maybe one pain-free day between.

I tried to tell a doctor but she didn't care last time, and I rarely have the opportunity to see one.

But sometimes at home I also feel ignored. I say I've had a migraine or a headache for a certain amount of time (in this case about a week at least) and get told "Stop saying that. You're healthy" or "You just need to fix your posture and exercise. That'll fix it."

Okay. Sure. Those could help, but even when I was at my fittest I had these issues. Pain started when I was still a teen.

Doctor didn't even want to look into what the problem was. Family tells me to just do better overall with the expectation that it will fix itself eventually.

Maybe I would believe them if it had worked when I was exercising daily and eating healthier. I was consistent for years.

@BusyBird

Migraines suck.

I'm sorry you are suffering with them.

I hope that you feel better soon 💛
