Hi everyone. To be honest I am very new to this and I really don't know what I am doing but I guess hear goes nothing. I struggle with perfectionism...... ALOT and it can get to the point where I have a complete mental break down when I make one mistake. I of course know this is not normal but it's just something that I can't seem to cope with it and or overwhelms me. I am making mistakes at work at it's affecting my job. Sorry for my rambling I just don't know what to do. Any advice is welcome.

Thank you.

Hello!

Sorry to hear that it’s affecting your work. As a fellow perfectionist, I relate to this. I think the key thing is to just step back and reflect in the moment. For instance, If I get a question wrong in an exam at school, I’ll take a step back and tell myself that this simple mistake won’t actually affect me as bad as I am telling myself. Perhaps, researching some coping ideas and trying which one works best for you would be beneficial. <3 I hope things get better soon. Thanks for sharing. 🌿🌺
