I am not of the opinion that the .U.S. S.E. is to be disparaged of consisting of cities or towns full of physically deteriorating, tactless old ppl w/'sandpaper' personalities of persons in the 20+-early 40 age range consisting of 'trying to hard to be different' wannabe invulernable 'street tough' wannabes b/c I feel similarly w/my *my* bias, vaguely or not-so vaguely racial and all about this southern Ontarian city =_= ...

Wireless headphones battery amount worries me.

The gap of time btw when I first had a hard boiled egg and when I finally made a poached egg--b/c I finally had a clear idea about what it was and the process.

My experience and memory was that when it came to old 'anime monster' based trading card series, most kids had the cards they had for their rarity, the illustrations or the popularity of certain characters. W/pokemon much more so than w/Yu-gi-oh where the anime partially helped in understanding how to play the card game.

A reply to this particular question would be appreciated:

When it came to coming across certain groups or cliques in high school did anyone else come across louts who were like 'the enforcers' of a clique?. Even if they were not physically imposing or posturing (=_= though d--n that I did come across) they were the ones most often circling 'the centre of the clique' and would even tells others to back away from them if not amplify ridicule or harrassment towards others.

D--n I hate that. D--n I'm antipathic towards that.

First high school experiences/memories..and one stupid instant in the second.

Recently I finished listening to the ~14 hr audiobook 'Words without music', a memoir Phillip Glass put out in 2k15 when he would have been *almost* 80. Astounding how someone who supposedly would have an 'eventful' artistic life would compress almost 700,800 hrs of life into 432 pgs which itself only translates to ~14 hours in monologue*.

I think that rarity of privleidged experience which Glass has not only experienced but shared is going to become more of a novelty given how his experiences came out during days when information preservation and transfer were nowhere as ubiquitious and consistent as they are now**..these days the interconnectivty is so intensely present..the attitude to care about such stuff and express it well though?; interconnectivity w/the questionable integrity of attention, currently***. Overchoice and the insidious risks of weariness from fickly exposure is all too real.

*this isn't taking into account how he more privately is in the habit of journalling which might make for another output publication in the near future, albeit maybe 'refined' for conciseness somehow.

** I forget which pt. but methinks before the mid- 70's but defnitely after sometime when he wrapped up school in the 50's. he actually travelled across Asian to learn Tibetan meditation and spirituality. Could you image having had the internet and being able to Instagram it, back then?.

I remember something from that Craig Ferguson written novel..that notion that ppl who commit suicide go to hell/face damnation?..when a person feels like taking their own life they are likely going through their own personal hell.
