My second attempt to an online diary, part 1.
Hello there, this is probably my second attempt to an online diary. I've done this in the past, but on another forum, but it didn't help me at all so I'm trying to do that here, and see where it goes.
So, where to begin? I'm pushing for 30's, and it feels like my life is a complete disaster, both emotionally and mentally.
I feel completely drained most days, and not having anyone to reach out to for emotional support is really disheartening.
I am in therapy, however, but it's not always easy talking to my therapist...so that's why I probably need another space to vent, and feel alive.
Possibly even feel validated by others, but that's another thread that I'll touch upon later in this diary.
Anyways, yesterday I felt an incredible void inside and felt really sad and depressed and moody, and today it seems to be going better but the void, that gaping chasm within the confines of my soul is always there.
And I don't know what to do, to be honest.
I'll breathe, in the meantime, and hope for a better tomorrow.
@superiorsimian You are wise! Breathing is key, and writing can sometimes help figure out the next steps, even if they are little. I hope you'll find how writing can also be a great way to "vent". But if you ever need someone to talk to - there are many wonderful Listeners here at 7Cups (https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/). It is so true that it's not always easy to talk to a therapist, and often we just want a friend, someone who cares and supports. Someone to discuss things with, someone to share insight with and think about various perspectives and possibilities. I hope your writing project goes well. Some people say it's important to "stick" to it, like, if you don't feel inspired, just do 5 minutes, but still do it, every day. We're here for each other.
