Pure undiluted rage

I'm trying to get rid of this anger but it's lingering in the back of my mind and I don't think it will disappear until I write it out.

I live in a world of pretend because my health conditions are ignored by doctors and people I have to deal with to survive life.

I don't know why it's hard for them to believe me when I say doing such and such actions are detrimental to my health and well being, you are putting me at risk..

Instead I'm seen as a delusional Princess making up lies to avoid being cooperative, even attempting to meet them half way isn't good enough.

The scoffs and the sneers are making my blood boil. Why can't they be respectful?

The last straw was attending a meeting that was set up for me, he knew that I cannot manage stairs, I get dizzy, the ground disappears, I can't see where I'm going, I feel like I'm going to plummet, the pain of climbing aggravates my body to such an extent, I can barely move and for some reason, it just stays like that for a long time..

Knowing all of this, he didn't care. I showed up and was told, you need to go upstairs. I refused. I am sick of tired of putting myself in danger.

What the icing on the cake is, there is a working lift that they refuse to let anyone use. Later on I will find out how much trouble I am in for being long term ill.

It just doesn't seem right.

@ScrabbleBrain

          There is nothing worse than being in the middle of a health issue and not have a clear diagnosis.  I have been there. Anger was very present.  So many people feel it is us and we should just go along.  It took almost 3 years to find out what was wrong in my case over 6 doctors.......... one who told me it was in my head.

My symptoms were not the textbook case or average and sadly many doctors refuse to consider if your case is not exactly like a textbook example.   I am wishing you the strength to stay calm and someone can figure it out.

@toughTiger6481 Thank you for saying that, nobody really understands illness unless they are in the same boat. I'm glad at least you got the diagnosis you were after. I can relate I'm not standard either so I kept being dismissed as a faker and hypochondriac.

The most I can do is treat the pain as best as I can with heat and rest and binaural beats. I'm hope you're managing adequately too :)

It helped to vent :)

@ScrabbleBrain

It's not right.

I'm sorry he was so rude and unaccommodating.

I'm glad you advocated for yourself.

It's not easy when you know your own health yet are being constantly dismissed and unheard.

I'm so sorry your day was so tough my friend.

Sending you all my love.

I've always got you 🩷
