Sad life
I'm about to break my fast, alone at the table. The first mouthful had me thinking that how pitiful my siblings are since they haven't had a chance to have the convocation moment with my late father. My father left us too fast when we are not even ready. What a sad life.
My mother tell me to accept the fact that my father has been sick for 3 years and now it's time for him to rest but letting go is the hardest part. This sadness don't really have a cure

I don't think anyone is ever ready to receive that heartbreaking, life-altering news about a loved one or ever easy to let go of a loved one.
Might actually be the hardest thing known to the world.
There's this quote "I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye."~ I feel the same way, it hurts and hurts hard, but fighting against the inevitability of it, is a lost battle always.
Everyone has their way of comforting self, or others around, people say things like that to lessen the pain, to make it feel "valid" and easy to let go~ but you don't need to.
Your loved one will always have a place in your heart, and their memories will keep you warm and fuzzy always~ you have all the right on these memories, and you don't need to "let them go". You can hold tight and visit as often, to be with your loved one, in your memories~ it's y'alls personal time and no one has to intervene or take it away from you!
I truly do hope he is out of pain, resting now also. Even so, your pain is valid, and you're allowed to grieve and take as much time you need for it. Sending love your way.💛
