Defeat is Victory
In moments when we bow our head,
When battles end, and hope feels dead,
The weight of loss, a heavy sigh,
Is where true victory can lie.
For when we cease the endless fight,
Let go of proving wrong or right,
The silence brings a clearer view
That peace is found in what we knew.
Defeat’s embrace can set us free,
No chains of pride, just let things be.
For in surrender, we arise,
And see the truth through wiser eyes.
The fight subsides, the heart can rest,
In quiet, we become our best.
For losing isn’t always wrong
In giving up, we grow more strong.
