Tired of life
Today I hit a point where I’m just exhausted with every day life. I feel like life is a constant wash, rinse, repeat. I’m tired of waking up every day to go to work, come home and cook dinner, wash dishes, prep lunch for the next day, shower, watch tv then sleep and repeat the whole thing again the next day. I feel like I don’t make enough time for myself and when I do, my body is too exhausted to do anything like workout or something. It doesn’t help that I have a fiancé who makes me feel bad for asking him for help with some of the chores. We both work, but I’m the one who comes home and has to cook dinner, wash our dishes from lunch, wash the dishes from dinner and prep both our lunches for the next day plus do any chores that need to be done. If I ask him for help on one thing he gets frustrated for me asking him to help and it makes me feel bad for asking but also I can’t do everything on my own. It’s exhausting and I beat myself up every day for not making enough time to go on a job or get a quick workout in. I know that if I had some sort of daily exercise my mind would be more clear and I would feel better about myself. But some days I’m just way too exhausted to do anything but lay down. I’m stuck in a rut and I’m tired of it and I know that nobody can get me out of it but myself.
I hope you are proud of yourself! You are amazing for balancing all that! You might not feel as though because of the stress but life will play out the way you want. Time may feel stuck but its getting better. I hope you feel better❤️ I genuinely mean this
i totally understand how you feel, i used to workout before and now feel completely unmotivated to do anything that i love because i am so exhausted from work and school and other obligations that i have. i would say to take it easy. i know it’s frustrating doing things on your own and i think that talking to your fiancé about this will help him to see your point of view. it challenging and it may not feel like they will understand but it might help
I truly think that if your fiancé is going to be upset about helping you when you work all day than you should talk to him and explain how this makes you feel, if he is not understanding then I would reevaluate marrying him. Someone who doesn’t support you while you’re supporting them is only going to weigh on your mental health even more. Honestly I agree that work takes up way too much time. It sucks we barely have time for ourselves when taking care of who we are is what keeps us alive! I would consider a vacation if you can take one and if you can’t maybe reconsider jobs and if that isn’t a possibility either because I definitely know that it’s not always, then I would try to make any amount of time, even ten minutes to stretch before bed, just you where you can breathe and have that time to yourself will be better than nothing at all. It’s important to give yourself time for yourself, even if it’s when you’re in the shower, just breathe and enjoy the water and not think about tomorrow, just be truly in the moment and make that your “you” time. I hope I helped in some light! Best of luck to you!
