The nice thing about journalling on this site is how unlike a fair lot, you can go back and edit what you type and submissions appear in an instant.

__

This site is a distraction if I pitch hopes on listeners, *DA has always been a distraction w/it's art sure, but it's suffered since the shift to the 'Eclipse' interface, even when it comes to searching and search results, I swear =_=

*Pinterest is starting to look good to me for art, at long last.

On psychforum 'you better know what you're doing' since there is no 'take backs' to edit and expecting it to appear can take a while. Expect even less attention over there if that's what you seek for whatever reason.

I need an art which can

--be done in crowded spaces
--can be done in noisy environments
--can be done at low expense rate

--can always be counted on to have actions done towards it in micro-bursts of several minutes to be validly meaningful to pulling it off

and probably most of all

--has a low learning curve and requires barely any skill

YouTube and most of the internet to me, truly is a distraction.

I say this I remember how for a few weeks in November and/or December 2019 we didn't have a wi-fi provider and I felt productive in new ways. How much more in a space of my own upon moving out ?.

`_` Maybe, I could experiment in going w/out home wifi for the first few months..

I could see myself having to need computer w/wifi access specifically a few times a months, emails not included..

goodness knows how it's one of the few things which might make me simmer down from something like platform =_= ..

Investigate sooner Windsor than TO. Sooner spends week in a hotel in Windsor than Toronto.

Again better not spend time nitpicking/hunting for the exact vid and time stamp

Doug Walker once said that media for little kids seems sunny b/c of how we'd want kids to grow up optimistic..while that is a sweet intention I think that more often than 'dark media' which is less about flashy violence and grotesque a/o invulnerable looking characters but more so tedium, ennui, disappointment and the accompanying melancholy and borderline despair which is more realistic than any notion that most ppl (or at least adults for that matter) resort to flashy violence in life and death scenerios.

..that and how 'the sunny side of stuff' is something a part of me would not like little kids to experience via quasi-commodified media (no offense to Lisa Frank, Disney et al)

Thomas Ligotti once said that Buddhism is philosophical pessimism and I appreciate this take by De Botton [link] 0:41+..1:00-1:53 https://youtu.be/5yZ8a_zAEl0?t=60 --my eyes roll a bit at the part where a figure of ~'Hotei(?)' is used instead Guatama like before regarding Shakyamuni smiling.

Of course, Ligotti's take is no more absolute than Kant on the absolute ;I

If spending a year-ish in extensive physiotherapy can justify taking someone out of work or even school for a prolonged period, it's not too much of a stretch to think that to culminate the physique of a crossfit athlete or fitness model can become successfully acheived and sustained for a fair amount of a lifetime by stepping out work or the like for about a year..

..but w/the devastation which happened to the gym scene on a global scale though :I ..

Thinking about the 'pre-2020 reboot state' of the franchise

I didn't finally appreciate 'season 3' Digimon ('Tamers') until nearly a decade after I viewed in w/underwhelmed disappointment in the early 00's.

'Frontier' ('season 4') is what 11 year old me would've expected another Digimon season to be like if the characters from the first two seasons. Having the privilege of having gone through all of the '.tri' entries last year, I feel like that would've been a 'season 3' I would've stuck too even if the last ~2-ish mintues of '02's' finale arguably aimed for too much closure but I'll also admit that if '.tri' had been viewed by me as an 11 year old, I might've struggled to understand it but not for the same reasons as 'Tamers', since the characters from the first two season who I'd been following since ~'99/the turn of the century were stil there.

'Last evolution kizuna' to me still stands as a symbol '20th anniversary cherry on top project' still graciously put out despite the rocky production output track of 'tri.'
