The nice thing about journalling on this site is how unlike a fair lot, you can go back and edit what you type and submissions appear in an instant.

This site is a distraction if I pitch hopes on listeners, *DA has always been a distraction w/it's art sure, but it's suffered since the shift to the 'Eclipse' interface, even when it comes to searching and search results, I swear =_=
*Pinterest is starting to look good to me for art, at long last.
On psychforum 'you better know what you're doing' since there is no 'take backs' to edit and expecting it to appear can take a while. Expect even less attention over there if that's what you seek for whatever reason.
That being in awe of a 'kinetic sculpture' is soaking up watching a moving, working 'Lego technic' creation you made.
Astounding how those who were born in the late 80's who I always was aware of the 'more mature crowd' are now a fair chunk of the '30 somethings' I don't find myself too dissimilar from.
:/ mmm..being someone who can't drive, I almost forget how car ownership issues have a similar weight live living space/home ownership struggles in terms of reflecting how ridiculous it is to expect so much labour-wise from a world which mainly operates on industrial level salaries: Average Age of Vehicles on the Road Rises above 12 Years (msn.com)
Don't bother to ask "Does [x relative, removed to nth degree] care about [ a political scandal another relative] is in ?" .Ever.
As increasingly difficult as it is to imagine/conceptualize this..but there have been points in socieities when currency wasn't a thing and I'd think that in such contexts respect and not being frivolous/irreverant would be all the more important, even if bartering wasn't a thing* -- although I think it'd be fair to say or think that now percieved prejudicial a/o abuse laden attitudes from 'might makes right' fatalistic schlock to patriarchy and it's expressions would be attitudes which would make for a/o be a component for such attitudes when transactional attitudes are activated..it might be fair to say that's a how a fair amount of such attitudes originated and ponder in a ~'does existences precedence essecence or casuation ?', 'chicken or the egg ?' kind of way to factor socialization in , as to which one came first ?, who came on second ?
*the fellow w/the English like accent on 'the Duomo initiative's channel'..on a video about the (anthropological like) history of bartering brought up a study about two certain Amazon groups who put a lot of initiative into being ritualistic in a quasi-confrontational way w/both groups making speeches about the other and 'the glory' of what they've brought to barter before beginning..it was in the playlist of the finance history related videos, I believe.
The interesting thing about looking about HEMA^1, purported HEMA is how when it comes to 'hand-to-hand' methods in contrast to cold-arms weidling (ex.say German 'Ringen' from centuries ago) that ppl apparently moved not too different combatively in pre-modern era Europe from say what'd be used in 'Eastern styles' (ex.Japanese Jujitsu in it's more militaristic days of use).. :/ then again part of the criticism from following old manuals about that stuff is how the ppl dong it might say how a judo or freestyle wrestling background and be working from that but there are only so many ways a human body can bend, strike a/o be struck ?, right ?^2.
^1 'historical European martial arts'..stuff like old,non-sport based fencing, sword fighting etc and apparently what hand-tohand methods were around back then; I wouldn't be surprised if some would even include archery methods from before when compound bows were a thing. The 'quarter staff' from the Robin Hood stories could count as well.
^2 Despite all the subtely of the extensive repertoires which Eastern styles can be, all the more 'pitched w/mystique' not only b/c of legend a/o folklore but b/c of the 'glitz and glamor' of media, anime included; 'Super eyepatch wolf' had a video which went over the struggles, to his life and in legal terms which Xu Xiaodong has had in China over getting the reception of the effectiveness of MMA recognized next to 'traditional' martial arts like T'ai-chi-chuan or even Wing Chun
`_` This site could seriously need/use some post-posting editing and deletion features when it comes to it's forums.

It's interesting how 'the Matrix' movie* influenced our more fantastical takes on pre-social media internet and still does..and that enough time has past that a (fourth entry ?, reboot ?)** is being considered
*at the very least the first one
** sincet the first one
Wondering if the English truly are as resistant to introspection De Bottom brought up in that video about Donald Winicott. All these years, decades after

Interesting how over time the notion of non-secular or notions mean around to salvation or illumination for people or the masses has diminish somewhat to a shift towards espousing the dissemination of thoughts or knowledge* which those 'who were literate and beyond' all along in the centuries before would have thought of and/or have had knowledge of.
*apparently 'the more optimal thoughts'
=_= But for f--k sake, **stop doing** that in terms of disparaging socialism or the like for some rationalization to continue capitalism after we have been thoroughly wrecked by a public health crisis enough to finally justify UBI a lot more often and a lot more places
*Please* co-operation over competition in a world where *even 'the global south'* is leaning more towards low fertility rates and there is going to be an incoming tsunami of gray heads incoming still committing to invalidating the validity of experiences solely on the basis of their exposure/longevity when they themselves are no longer able to (commit too much let alone take on new commitments, .i.e.) change.
You idiots purport to claim that materialism domineers all when you are so badly overlooking or under thinking the philosophy of presence, *of non-presence* when you can't realize how so often what screws people over in terms of pricing is that which doesn't have 'a solidity to it' ('space' and what counts for it what counts for it.. before getting into conceptions about land). I'm tired of seeing people get screwed over like what the final sentence of the footnote of this

brings up, as if it's a freaking dumba-- feudal era feudal era since surely even those among us who are involved in STEM fields 'career wise' can feel the difference it makes to have a conviction in something like say atomic structure and what that means as far as possible finite physics (*not metaphysics*) in contrast to the perpetual underclass of centuries ago which *most* of us (whether we like it or not) are descended from..>:/ d--n do you have work to do as far as being the sorts of ancestors people can actually appreciate on and for objective reasons in contrast to what we have repeatedly done, all the self-mythologizing and such leaving out those who were marginalized and or exploited (previous natives, the previously perceived as 'chattel property'/enslaved etc).
Self-mythologizing example: xD that stupid trailer for that animated 'America:the motion picture' special coming to Netflix. The kind of outrage we can expect my resemble that of when 'Team America: World police' came out but it's different now when so much ridiculousness isn't even, doesn't even need to be mass-produced or have a big budget (YouTube and memeification) in a 'post-P(OTUS)45' 'world-attitude'.
Part of me which which is that the part of me which wishes for how I could always have the 0:15 + part of this video play whenever I need motivation to get going, like upon waking up.

I appreciate how I appreciate how that one crash course linguistics video brought up how typing with little emoticons of the more object-based / looking sort like that now offered on a fair amount of cell phone typing options or YouTube typing options doesn't really count as a language because it's not self-reflexive (i.e. you can't express / write about emoticons with emoticons).
It kind of reminds me of how in a Cracked article in bringing up how Chinese characters/idiograms can get complicated, it doesn't take too much effort to construe the character for 'tree, timber, wood's as passing (just enough) for 'tree' but when trying write something more abstract like love that's when the characters are 'not as straightforward' in terms of looking like whatever is meant to be expressed.
