Yes, you can agree with a definition of absurdism being searching for answers and an answer to this world.. but I think one reason I'm fond of History is how (while I am aware that you can argue that it won't change certain states of thing..arguably) they are something very satisfying about being able to trace the development of something down to what you can more securely call it's 'causality'.

Come that, then maybe you can enter a different stage of debate as to whether that causality was ever truly immutable for reasons immaterial or material ('attitudes' and 'the state of haves and have nots').

Then comes a painful possibility of irony, in that people won't listen but they won't hesitate to irresponsibly say aversivable cliches like 'it is what it is' or 'that's how it's always been hence I will only continue with that', pretending that there's no history beyond their parents / the previous generation and acting on an attitude in which they say they might be securing 'the best's for 'the kids in posterity' although what they might be doing is postponing 'the best's for those kids with tedious, miserably borderline-sollipistic greed making things collectively worse for those emerging in the future (ex. Environmental destruction coming from decades of attitudes promoting hyperproduction usually with a fueling for divisive blue-collar grind culture and white-collar rat races for managerial and/or finance based positions).

Also on a lighter note, I almost always appreciate finally understanding something mysterious or which I was vaguely aware of (but turns out it was important) which was apparently going on during my prepubescent years.

I feel conflicted about having thrown out tamarind sauce which was in tupperware. I did it partly in the interest of being less things in the fridge which take up space and (despite what apparent fondness my mom has for it*) The tamarind sauce has been underutilized. In the past I would have eaten it with samosas but I am typically averse to sugary food although I will compliment how it does have a distinct flavor of being richly sweet and also validly spicy as if liquefied or melted versions of those spicy cinnamon candies ('Tamales' is one brand (?)) were an ingredient--I could imagine it being used as part of a distinct meat glaze, this coming from someone who typically doesn't eat meat.

There is still a much smaller container of that same sauce albeit it's fine after having been taken out of the freezer.

Gj: Those instances where you subscribe to some high-teir version of a website or app you have an account to, under a limited time free trial but unsubscribe days before the trial expires but it's not the sort of thing where you imeediately lose access to extra features etc but it's the sort which will let you continue on a free trial up until the date when you would otherwise be charged.

Is it '00's nostalgia' to suddenly have a craving to listen to pre-'The E.N.D.' 'Black eyed peas' since you've felt it's absence but think that evoking it is benign or innocous enough to not be a big deal ?.

This Margaret Atwood Teaches Creative Writing | MasterClass | The Handmaid's Tale , 'kanopy' and 'chess.com' for that matter ..it's not just my fondness for the content but how they are all at least some nth percentage less distracting than YouTube and it's thumbnails.

I will be less afraid to use paper from the big $30 drawing pad I purchased once for painting instead of drawing.
