What A Difference a Year Makes!
As I sit and reflect on the past year, I for one can't wait to see the back of it. When I think of where I was this exact time last year, I really believed I wouldn't be here now, you see, my fight for survival was so great even the specialist had their doubts, against the odds, I'm still here.
The people I have become acquainted with, met under the most devastating circumstances, I had no intentions in making friends at the start, I was there for treatment, nothing else, however something changed along the way, these people knew exactly how I was feeling, we shared an experience, we laughed we cried we hugged we understood, even more than our family and friends did! They are my soul sisters, my believers and my hope and my inspiration, some are here like me rebuilding our lives, whilst others are lighting up the night skies acting as our stars shining bright.
So goodbye to 2015 it's certainly been a journey, one which I will never forget, one which has taught me so much, one which has given me a new perspective on life, one which has been my biggest fight and one which in a strange kind of way I'm thankful for because it's been my biggest wake up call!
Hello 2016 - I welcome you with open arms! I wonder what you bring?
Tell us about your journey over the past 12 months, what difference has a year made to you?
The last year was the most difficult year of my life. I discovered a lot of psychological and physical problems I earlier didn't think of such a big deal. Now that depression surrounds all those problems, they have become a bigger part of my life. I have struggled, I just had to fight it, sometimes I sunk even deeper into my problems, but thankfully, I'm better now. My life didn't get better, but my attitude changed, and I started to enjoy my life a bit more than I did last year at this exact time. I will keep growing and will eventually get better at tackling life's problems.
@WhiteBearClub
Im so pleased to hear you have managed to turn things around and that you are enjoying life again, this is really good to hear, and your right, our problems are much easier to deal with if our mental attitude is a positive one. Thank you for sharing here.

That's so true, alot of happend to me this year and has helped me grow as a person a lot.
2015 is totally worst year for me.. i had cried till i am tired and many unexpected things happened and few people left me or i left them.. i never imagined i can manage all this.. i almost recovered from everything( like 99%)and still struggling to smile and i will surely leave all this sad things in 2015 and start 2016 with happiness now matter what happens. :)
@nothingisforever91 sounds like you had a really rough past year. With all that though, it's great that you're so optimistic and positive and interested in taking control of your futurre. As you have the willpower, you will succeed! Thanks for sharing
@SethK thank you :) we need to just accept things and start moving on... that is how we can be happy. if i decide to move on once, then nothing is going to stop me.. this is how i trained my brain all these years :)
@nothingisforever91 very true!
@nothingisforever91

@professionalPerspective60
thank you for your kind words :) have a great future ahead
as for this past year..I'd simply quote Mr.Elliot For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.
So no regrets just stuff to fix..
@insightfulTruth93
hmmm regrets! Or learning curves! That is the question!
I believe our regrets, bad choices and mistakes are all very much validated and play a part in our characters today!
@professionalPerspective60 I'd say..
