Looking back on my life I never really thought about what kind of life I had lived until I was in my mid 20's. Looking back I never relised that I had such a terrible childhood. I never relised how poor my family was or how much of my childhood I had effectivlymisses. I would give a quick break down of my life/problems but I would have to start at a very young age and work myself up to now. I think I will. I think about my life all the time now, with nothing better to do.

Lets start way back in the day.

I was born into a family of myself, my sister, my mother and my father. My mother became very sick when she was pregnant with me, and I was born premature. Not breathing and had to spend the first few weeks in a encubater. My parents relationship was not in good shape. My father cheated on my mother openly and constantly wanted her to quite college and leave the Marine corps. He wanted a house wife.

Finally my mother had enough and left him. takeing me (3 years old) and my sister. (6 years old) With her to Knoxville.

When we moved to knoxville my mother met my future stepfather Steve.

Steve as a.. Tragic man in retrospect. He was a good guy who simply made bad choices in his life. He had just gotten out of jail. He had gotten drunk one night, and his friends robbed a store, He turned himself in as a acomplus and served two years.

There relationship went well for a while, but steve would laps into drinking ever so often.

And when I was five my mother became pregnant with my young brother Nicolus. But she as sick just like she was when he was caring me. But much worse now. We knew something was wrong and the doctors finally decised that my mother had Lupis. She was one of the first 30 cases in the US.

The prenency went badly, my brother was born very early and only lived for three days, my mother was no bed ridden, Steven was crushed and lappesed into drinking. And I as a give year old was angry. I was angry that my mother was sick, my father was gone all the time and my younger brother had been taken from me, I lashed out at everyone, I became very disruptive in school. I would fight anyone, for any reason. And I was falling behind in school as well. Finally my mother got herself together enough to demand that we move back to her home in south eastern Ketucky, to remove the temptation of drinking from steve.

@KyClay - I'm sorry that you didn't get a response when you first wrote this last year. It sounds like you've had a lot to struggle with, particularly as a young child, and it must have taken a lot of strength to move through all of this. I applaud you for opening up here, and I hope that you were able to find the suppoer you were looking for here. Take care, lovely.
