The title explains itself.
If you're interested in the ramblings of a middle-aged man with chronic conditions who, at times, sees things a little too clearly for his own good, then read on.
Sometimes I get political, but it won't be all the time.
I don't mind comments in general but if you're going to differ with what I write, that's fine--as long as you can explain your position clearly & reasonably. Rants, shouting & general incoherence will be ignored or flagged, depending on the situation. Try to remember that not everyone else in this world holds your beliefs.
Every so often I may post art or snapshots of projects I'm working on.
If you're still interested after reading all the above, great. (I do wonder at how much time you have on your hands, though)
When you're an older (straight) man, you are cursed with adoration of & lusting after young women...though they're half your age or less & wouldn't touch you with a 10-foot pole--which you're perfectly aware of.
Wonder if late-middle-aged women have the same issue?...
A couple nightmares last night...not the worst I've experienced but disturbing enough. (What was up with that f***ing lizard??...)
It's cold enough this morning that I don't want to leave my sleeping bag for any reason before work this afternoon.
I haven't been on Bluesky (a X/Twatter clone but without the algo) in at least four days...haven't posted anything from my account there. Don't miss it a whit.

Didn't get much done today, but I did fire up the generator to make sure it still works. It does...partially charged my laptop with it. Today I was mostly lazy.
It's getting toward 1100 & I'm still inside the tent...
Does aging generally include laziness & sloth, or is it just me?
On a related note: am currently neglecting my land tasks to work on an art piece RN...not one suitable for CupsLand.

This is a fact, yet all these guys in the markets got antsy as *** this past Thursday...Friday the major indices (like the S&P) somewhat recovered, but only partially.
Getting caught up in intraday movements is for amateurs. How an asset changes in value over the long term, as in years...that is what counts.

I'm the only person I know of who will strip down to my underwear--or nothing at all--while the temp is low as 19°C/66°F or lower, outside, for relief.
(If you're wondering about the visuals, don't. Right now it's dark, I'm lying down in my tent & there are no street lights within 40' of me...got all the privacy I need)
