A journaling tip

I've been doing journaling for around 4 years now, and I would like to share with you some journaling styles/techniques that helped me get out of the negativity on some days.

1) Emotional regulation part

You may write questions to yourself and answer them in this sequence:

Q: What emotion do you feel?

A: For example: anger,

Q: How do you express it?

A: For example: I suppress them, or kick the wall.

Q: Do you feel satisfied with this way?

A: For example: no.

Q: What other ways of expression can seem more satisfying?

A: For example: maybe hugging a pillow, venting to a friend, or writing down the reason behind my emotions and critically think about them.

2) Self appreciation list (it had an amazing effect on my self-esteem and made me happier for longer periods)

List down your success during the day and appreciate yourself for it.

For example: write to yourself:

Dear, I'm grateful for your patience and diligence and I appreciate you for yourself because you deserve, and I thank you for:

For example:

Brushed my teeth

Did the laundry though you feel bored when you do

Spent time with your pet

Finished homework

(Every simple task deserves to be counted and appreciated for)

I will try to share more tips next days. I hope these ones help.

Good luck!
