How can you love yourself?

...See more I loved to share some tips to efficiently love yourself with balance: 1) There are emotional values that we NEED as attention, care, acceptance, appreciation, love, empathy, encouraging and support, presence, self awareness, and expression. Working on giving ourselves each value can help us feel full emotionally, as sometimes we feel we need love, but actually we need a more detailed emotion. 2) Social rhythm throughout the day. We need social communication for the sake of social communication, and for the sake of a sense of belonging that can't be compensated by our self-love or care. 3) Sublimation. Sometimes we can experience unmet love needs as romance, and sublimating this need into art or sports can help in validating the need and expressing it. This releases the weight of the need which can support our balance and emotional wellbeing. Wishing you all a great self-love!

A journaling tip
Journals & Diaries / by soothingLove6591

...See more I've been doing journaling for around 4 years now, and I would like to share with you some journaling styles/techniques that helped me get out of the negativity on some days. 1) Emotional regulation part You may write questions to yourself and answer them in this sequence: Q: What emotion do you feel? A: For example: anger, Q: How do you express it? A: For example: I suppress them, or kick the wall. Q: Do you feel satisfied with this way? A: For example: no. Q: What other ways of expression can seem more satisfying? A: For example: maybe hugging a pillow, venting to a friend, or writing down the reason behind my emotions and critically think about them. 2) Self appreciation list (it had an amazing effect on my self-esteem and made me happier for longer periods) List down your success during the day and appreciate yourself for it. For example: write to yourself: Dear, I'm grateful for your patience and diligence and I appreciate you for yourself because you deserve, and I thank you for: For example: Brushed my teeth Did the laundry though you feel bored when you do Spent time with your pet Finished homework (Every simple task deserves to be counted and appreciated for) I will try to share more tips next days. I hope these ones help. Good luck!

...See more This side effect was hard to control for years, but I was able to conquer it through therapy and by creating coping techniques. I could even write a case report and publish it so others can get help. The techniques included listing pleasurable activities and using them as replacements when the hunger feeling hits. This helped me avoid excess eating and lose weight. If any members here are suffering from this side effect and need more support or want to learn these techniques, please reply. I’m happy to help.

Managing self-esteem

...See more Hey, I struggled with self-esteem in a period of my life aand could manage it, and I chose to share some tips with you which may help. 1) Separate your real self-esteem from the things you estimate yourself based on: I used to feel appreciated when I play music so well and get positive feedback. Later, I learned that I'm worth of appreciation though I can't even play any instrument. 2) Keep a daily remainder to yourself that you are worthy without any reasons: Write down or say with spoken words that you deserve appreciation and respect. 3) Appreciate yourself by yourself. Sometimes, we can't find those who appreciate us or make us feel precious. So, don't wait for someone else and have your appreciation from yourself. This keeps you healthy and helps you avoid craving or needing appreciation from external sources. 4) Keep a social rhythm in your day: Although we can feel compensated by our own self-appreciation, the need for social connection and support is important. Have a conversation with family, friends, or engage in a work group or similar activity groups. I hope you feel you are great and important everyday forever!
